Works

The 12" 2-Piece Electronic Hi-Hat Cymbals is fully supported on your ATV EXS-3.

Continuous Open Closed

Wiring: 1× TRS pad → Hi-Hat input + 1× TRS pedal → HH Controller input (1/4" TRS jacks)

Variable hi-hat pedal control is supported — the Lemon pedal drives open, closed, half-open, and splash articulations. Confirmed by Lemon Cymbals compatibility reference.

Cable routing

  1. Connect the hi-hat pad to the Hi-Hat input.
  2. Connect the pedal controller to the HH Controller jack.

Module settings

  1. TRIGGER button > select Hi-Hat input > Pad Type, Gain, Sensitivity, Threshold, Crosstalk, Scan Time, Retrigger, Mask Time.

Tips

  1. The Lemon pedal will trigger open/closed states.
  2. Half-open and splash articulations are not guaranteed — the module is tuned for ATV's own pedal.
  3. Calibrate the hi-hat pedal range (open/closed end-points) in the module settings so variable response tracks the full pedal travel.
