Cable routing
- Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the hi-hat pad to the HI-HAT connector on the DB-25 cable snake.
- Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the hi-hat controller to the Hi-Hat Control connector on the DB-25 cable snake.
Module settings
- Move the hi-hat cymbal clear of the motion sensor, power on the TD-25, then loosen the clutch screw so the hi-hat rests naturally on top of the motion sensor unit.
- In the KIT screen, press [F3] (MENU), then [F3] (SETUP) to open the SETUP screen.
- Select "Trigger Settings", strike/select the HI-HAT input, and use the [INSTRUMENT] knob to set the Pad type to VH-11.
- Select "Hi-Hat Settings" and set the resting gap with the clutch while reading the on-screen meter — a Lemon hi-hat has no offset adjustment screw, so raise or lower the cymbal until the meter centres.

- Continuous pedal control provides smooth open-to-closed transitions.
