Wiring: 1× TRS pad → Trigger In 2/3 or 4/5 (Head+Rim) + hi-hat control pedal → HH Pedal input (Variable)
Continuous hi-hat control. The hi-hat pad connects to a dual-zone jack (Trigger In 2/3 or 4/5) set to Head+Rim for bow + edge, and the Lemon hi-hat control pedal connects to the dedicated HH Pedal input. In the Pedals menu, set the HH pedal Type to Variable so it sends a variable range of values for smooth open-to-closed response (a Switch option exists for fixed open/closed).
Cable routing
- Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the Lemon hi-hat pad to a free dual-zone jack (Trigger In 2/3 or 4/5).
- Connect the Lemon hi-hat control pedal to the dedicated HH Pedal input.
Module settings
- Press [Trigger], select the hi-hat pad's input (TRIN2–5) and set Type to Head+Rim.
- Press [F4–Pedals], select Pedal = HH and set Type to Variable for continuous control.
- Set the Op Pos / Cl Pos values to calibrate the open and close positions of the pedal.
Tips
- Variable mode gives smooth open-to-closed transitions; calibrate Op Pos / Cl Pos after connecting.
- The hi-hat pad needs one of the two dual-zone jacks for its bow + edge zones — plan jack use accordingly.
12" 2-Piece Electronic Hi-Hat Cymbals also fits 69 other drum modules — see setup
