Works

The 12" 2-Piece Electronic Hi-Hat Cymbals is fully supported on your GEWA G3.

Continuous Open Closed

Wiring: 1× TRS pad → HH input + 1× TRS pedal → HH-ctrl input (1/4" TRS jacks)

Module reads an analog CV hi-hat pedal (variable resistor / hall sensor), which the Lemon pedal provides. Expect open, closed, half-open and splash articulations after pedal calibration.

Cable routing

  1. Connect the hi-hat pad to the HH input.
  2. Connect the pedal controller to the HH-ctrl jack.

Module settings

  1. [TRIGGER SET] button > SETTINGS > SETUP for trigger parameters.
  2. Hi-hat calibration: set Lowest position and Highest position values (manual section 6.3).

Tips

  1. The Lemon pedal will trigger open/closed states.
  2. Half-open and splash articulations may work via the Lowest/Highest calibration but are not guaranteed since the manual does not list Roland VH compatibility.
