Setup details by role
Snare pad 2-zone 1× TRS → SNARE input (1/4" TRS jack)
Dual-zone snare triggering: head (tip) and rim (ring) respond independently via the single TRS connection. The DTX-PRO's [SNARE] jack supports multi-piezo pads, so a Lemon dual-piezo snare (head piezo + rim piezo) reads both zones once the snare's Pad Type is set to a matching SN entry.
Tom pad 2-zone 1× TRS per tom → TOM1, TOM2, TOM3 inputs (1/4" TRS jacks)
Dual-zone tom triggering: head (tip) and rim (ring) respond independently via the single TRS connection. The DTX-PRO's TOM1–TOM3 jacks support multi-piezo pads, so a Lemon dual-piezo tom (head piezo + rim piezo) reads both zones once each tom's Pad Type is set to a matching TM entry.
Kick pad Works 1× TS → KICK input (paired 1/4" jack)
Single-zone kick trigger. Only the head zone is active.
2-zone crash 2-zone 1× TRS → CRASH1 or CRASH2 input (individual rear-panel 1/4" stereo TRS jack)
The DTX-PRO reads 2-zone cymbals (bow + edge) on its CRASH1 / CRASH2 stereo TRS jacks — the manual lists these jacks as supporting single-piezo 3-zone cymbal pads (Owner's Manual p.57), so a Lemon 2-zone crash lands its bow and edge zones. Set the cymbal pad type so both zones register.
3-zone ride 1-zone 1× TRS from the cymbal's Ride 2 output → Ride input — bow only
Full 3-zone is not supported — the DTX-PRO takes a ride cymbal's bow, edge and cup as three trigger input sources on one cable into its single RIDE jack (Reference Manual p.5), while the Lemon ride splits its three zones across two outputs. Connect the cymbal's Ride 2 output (bow + bell); only bow-zone hits will trigger the kit’s ride voice.
Hi-hat Open/Closed 1× TRS pad → [HI-HAT] jack + 1× TRS (controller) → [CONTROL] jack (1/4" TRS jacks)
This module reads the Lemon hi-hat controller as open/closed.
