Works

The T950 20"x12" Kick Drum is fully supported on your Roland TD-25.

Trigger

Wiring: 1× TS or TRS → KICK connector on the DB-25 cable snake

Single-zone kick trigger via the cable snake. Only the head zone is active.

Cable routing

  1. Connect a 1/4" TS or TRS cable from the kick pad to the KICK connector on the DB-25 cable snake.

Module settings

  1. Press [F3] MENU > SETUP > Trigger.
  2. Navigate to the KICK input.
  3. Set the trigger type to KD-10 or KD-120 depending on your kick pad.

Tips

  1. Single-zone operation — only the head zone is active.
  2. A TS cable is sufficient for single-zone kick pads; TRS also works (ring is unused).
