Cable routing

  1. Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the hi-hat pad to the TRIGGER IN jack labelled for the hi-hat.

Module settings

  1. Press the [TRIGGER] button.
  2. Press the [F4] (HI-HAT) button to open the TRIGGER - HI-HAT screen.
  3. Use the [-] [+] buttons or the dial to set the Trig Type to VH-11 (or VH-13 / VH-10).
  4. Loosen the clutch and set the resting gap by raising or lowering the cymbal on the controller until the hi-hat reads open with your foot off the pedal.

Tips

  1. Set the resting gap with the clutch: loosen it, let the cymbal rest on the controller, and raise or lower it until the module's offset reading settles. A Lemon hi-hat has no offset adjustment screw — the clutch is the control.
  2. Pedal curve is adjustable for fine control over the open-to-closed gradient.
14" 2-Piece Electronic Hi-Hat Cymbals also fits 71 other drum modules — see setup
