Wiring: 1× TRS (pad) → Hi-Hat connector on the 25-pin cable snake + 1× TRS (pedal) → the hi-hat pedal lead on the cable snake
The HH Pedal input is not documented as Roland VH/FD compatible, and there is no pedal curve or half-open voice — treat as open/closed.
Cable routing
- Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the hi-hat pad to the Hi-Hat connector on the 25-pin cable snake.
- Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the hi-hat pedal controller to the hi-hat pedal lead on the cable snake.
Module settings
- Go to Utility → use Page/Select to navigate to the Hi-Hat input.
- Adjust SEN (Sensitivity), THR (Threshold), and S-S (Splash Sensitivity).
Tips
- No pedal curve options are available — the module uses a fixed pedal response.
- Hi-hat voice selection is limited to H-C 001–007.
- Open/closed transitions may feel less nuanced than modules with pedal curve tuning.
14" 2-Piece Electronic Hi-Hat Cymbals also fits 69 other drum modules — see setup
