The 14" 2-Piece Electronic Hi-Hat Cymbals works on your Donner DED-500P with reduced zones.

Continuous Open Closed

Wiring: 1× TRS pad + pedal → Hi-Hat input (1/4" TRS jack)

Switch-based pedal with module-simulated half-open states. Not truly continuous. Same as DED-500.

Cable routing

  1. Connect the hi-hat pad to the Hi-Hat input jack.

Module settings

  1. MENU > SENSITIVITY > select Hi-Hat > PS, RS, THRESH, XTALK, RETRIG, VOLUME.

Tips

  1. The pedal is switch-based — the module simulates half-open states but does not provide true continuous pedal control.
