Works

The 14" 2-Piece Electronic Hi-Hat Cymbals is fully supported on your Audiofront eDRUMin.

Continuous Open Closed

Wiring: 1× TRS pad → eDRUMin input + 1× TRS pedal → eDRUMin pedal input

Full continuous hi-hat control. Supports Roland VH and Yamaha HH controllers. eDRUMin 10 has 2 pedal inputs.

Cable routing

  1. Connect the hi-hat pad to an eDRUMin trigger input.
  2. Connect the pedal controller to the dedicated pedal input.
  3. eDRUMin 4/8: 1 pedal input. eDRUMin 10: 2 pedal inputs.

Module settings

  1. Open the eDRUMin Control Application > Pedal Editor for pedal calibration.
  2. Select input > Trigger Editor > set appropriate hi-hat pad type.
  3. Adjust: Gain, Thresh, Scan, Hold, Decay, Crosstalk, Velocity Curves.
  4. Drum Map Editor for MIDI CC assignment.

Tips

  1. Full continuous pedal control is supported (open, half-open, closed).
  2. Compatible with Roland VH-series and Yamaha HH controllers.
  3. Outputs hi-hat MIDI CC for precise pedal position detection in DAW or VST.
