Bow Edge

Wiring: 1× TRS → CRASH connector on the DB-25 cable snake

Dual-zone crash triggering: bow (tip) and edge (ring) respond independently via the single TRS connection. Choke works by grabbing the cymbal edge. The TD-02 supports Roland CY-series 2-zone cymbals.

Cable routing

Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the cymbal to the CRASH connector on the DB-25 cable snake.

Module settings

Press the [MENU] button, use the [▲] [▼] buttons to select "PAD", and press the [ENTER] button.
Strike the cymbal to select its input (or hold [ENTER] and press the [▲] [▼] buttons).
Use the [▲] [▼] buttons to select "Type" and the [-] [+] buttons to set the cymbal PAD type to a CY value from the PAD Type list such as "CY12C" or "CY8".
Select "Sens" and "Threshold" and adjust each with the [-] [+] buttons if needed.
Press the [DRUM KIT] button to return to the DRUM KIT screen.

Tips

Bow and edge zones respond independently.
Choke works by grabbing the cymbal edge.
