Wiring: 1× TRS → Crash 1 connector on the cable snake, or 1× TRS → Crash 2 jack on the rear panel
Crash 1 is on the cable snake (TRS). Crash 2 is a ¼″ TS jack on the rear panel (mono only — edge zone will not function on Crash 2). For full 2-zone operation, use the Crash 1 snake connector.
Cable routing
- For full 2-zone: Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the cymbal to the Crash 1 connector on the cable snake.
- Alternative (mono only): Connect a ¼″ cable from the cymbal to the Crash 2 jack on the rear panel.
Module settings
- Go to Kit → Menu → Trigger. Select the Crash input.
- Adjust Sensitivity, Threshold, Curve, and Rim Sens.
- Set Head-Rim Adj to balance bow and edge response.
Tips
- Crash 2 on the rear panel is TS (mono) — it will trigger the bow zone only.
- Xtalk parameter can reduce false triggers from nearby pads.
- Retrig Cancel helps prevent double triggering on hard strikes.
