Wiring, module settings, and tips for the 9" Dual-Zone Splash when used with the NUX DM-8.

Yes — the 9" Dual-Zone Splash works as a full 2-zone crash on the NUX DM-8: bow + edge.

Bow Edge

Wiring: 1× TRS → Crash 1 / Crash 2 branch on the multi-pin trigger snake, or a TRIGGER IN jack on the top panel

Dual-zone crash: bow and edge respond independently over one TRS. The trigger cable carries two dual-zone Crash branches, and the module's top panel adds two TRIGGER IN jacks.

Cable routing

Plug the Lemon crash into a CRASH 1 or CRASH 2 branch of the trigger snake.
For extra cymbals, use a TRIGGER IN jack on the module's top panel (1/4").

Module settings

Press MENU > TRIGGER and hit the cymbal to select it.
Tune SENSITIVITY / THRESHOLD; RIM GAIN sets the edge-zone response.

Tips

Bow and edge respond independently.
XTALK CANCEL helps if a nearby pad cross-triggers the cymbal.
