9" Dual-Zone Splash on Donner DED-200X
Setup — 9" Dual-Zone Splash on Donner DED-200X
WorksYes — the 9" Dual-Zone Splash works as a full 2-zone crash on the Donner DED-200X: bow + edge.
Bow
Edge
Wiring: 1× TRS → Crash connector (via cable snake) or Crash 2 jack (1/4" TRS, rear panel)
Same specifications as the DED-200. Connect to Crash connector on the cable snake or Crash 2 jack on rear panel.
Cable routing
- Connect to the Crash connector on the cable snake, or use the Crash 2 jack (1/4" TRS) on the rear panel.
- The DED-200X shares the same cable snake and rear panel layout as the DED-200.
Module settings
- In DRUM KIT mode, press MENU, use the encoder or UP/DOWN to select SENSITIVITY, then press ENTER.
- Press UP/DOWN to pick a parameter, tap the crash pad to select it (shown as CR), and turn the encoder to set the value.
- Set SEN (drum sensitivity, 01-06) so your normal stroke registers at full volume.
- Set THREH. (trigger threshold, 01-32) so light knocks don't trigger the pad.
- Raise XTALK (crosstalk threshold, 01-32) if a neighbouring pad false-triggers this one, and RETR. (repeat trigger, 01-32) if you get double triggers.
- Set VOL (volume, 00-127) to balance the pad against the rest of the kit.
- Press SAVE to store the settings.
Tips
- Dual-zone cymbal triggering is supported on crash inputs.
- Same trigger architecture as the DED-200.
9" Dual-Zone Splash also fits 73 other drum modules — see setup
