The 9" Dual-Zone Splash is fully supported on your Roland TD-9.

Bow Edge

Wiring: 1× TRS → CRASH1 connector on the DB-25 cable snake

Dual-zone crash triggering: bow (tip) and edge (ring) respond independently via the single TRS connection. Choke works by grabbing the cymbal edge. The TD-09 supports Roland CY-series 2-zone cymbals.

Cable routing

Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the cymbal to the CRASH1 connector on the DB-25 cable snake.

Module settings

Press [SETUP] > Trigger > Bank.
Navigate to the CRASH1 input.
Set the trigger type to match your cymbal size.

Tips

Bow and edge zones respond independently.
Choke works by grabbing the cymbal edge.
