Use as 1-zone crashYes — the 9" Dual-Zone Splash works on the Simmons Titan 20 as a 1-zone crash: bow only.

Wiring: N/A
Crash input is single-zone per specs (p.6). MIDI chart confirms single note for crash. Connecting a 2-zone cymbal will trigger bow only; edge detection is not supported.
Cable routing
- Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the cymbal pad to the Crash connector on the 25-pin cable harness.
Module settings
- Set the crash input's sensitivity and threshold from the Simmons Titan 20's own trigger menu — see the Simmons Titan 20 manual for the exact steps. Only the bow zone triggers; edge strikes won't sound separately.
Tips
- The Titan 20 crash input is single-zone — only the bow zone will trigger. Edge strikes will not produce a separate sound.
- No expansion jacks available on this module.
9" Dual-Zone Splash also fits 73 other drum modules — see setup
