Works

The 9" Dual-Zone Splash is fully supported on your ATV aD5.

Bow Edge

Wiring: 1× TRS → Crash1 or Crash2 input (1/4" TRS jack)

Full dual-zone cymbal support with bow and edge. Choke supported.

Cable routing

  1. Connect to the Crash1 or Crash2 input using a standard 1/4" TRS cable.
  2. The aD5 has 11 individual 1/4" TRS jacks: Kick, Snare, Tom1-3, Hi-Hat, Crash1, Crash2, Ride, Aux1, Aux2, plus HH Controller.

Module settings

  1. MENU > TRIGGER > select pad > Type, Sensitivity, Threshold, Crosstalk, Retrigger, Curve, Scan Time, Mask Time.

Tips

  1. Bow and edge trigger independently.
  2. Choke is supported via edge grab detection.
