18" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride on NUX DM-8

Wiring, module settings, and tips for the 18" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride when used with the NUX DM-8.

Setup — 18" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride on NUX DM-8

Use as 2-zone ride

Yes — the 18" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride works on the NUX DM-8 as a 2-zone ride: bow + edge.

Choose your ride zones

Plug: Ride 1

Wiring: RIDE branch on the multi-pin trigger snake → Ride 1 (bow/edge)

Plug the RIDE branch into the Lemon ride's Ride 1 output for bow + edge — no cymbal modification. The ride's second zone is assignable, so give it a ride-edge or crash voice.

Or set it up as Bow + bell

Plug: Ride 2

After a one-time, reversible jumper move inside the cymbal (~10 min) the Ride 2 output carries bow + bell into the single RIDE branch.
