The Titan 20's ride input is single-zone — it triggers one note (MIDI note 51 = bow). A Lemon 3-zone ride plays as a bow-only ride; bell and edge won't register.
Cable routing
- Connect one 1/4" TRS cable from the ride cymbal's Ride 2 output to the branch of the multi-pin cable harness labeled "To Ride".
Module settings
- Set the ride input's sensitivity and threshold from the Simmons Titan 20's own trigger menu so bow strikes register cleanly and evenly across the pad — see the Simmons Titan 20 manual for the exact steps.
- The ride input reads a single zone, so load a ride voice whose bow sample stands on its own — every ride strike plays that single sound.
Tips
- The ride input triggers a single note (51), so bell and edge hits sound the same as the bow.
