15" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride on Alesis Command
Setup — 15" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride on Alesis Command
Use as 1-zone rideYes — the 15" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride works on the Alesis Command as a 1-zone ride: bow only.

Bow
Edge
Wiring: 1× TRS from the ride cymbal (Ride 2 output) → RIDE connector on the cable snake — bow only
The Command's RIDE connector drives a single trigger. Its MIDI chart lists Ride Bow, Ride Edge and Ride Bell, but only the bow is reachable on that input: the module shows one trigger name for the whole cymbal, offers no rim parameters for it, and accepts one assigned voice. A Lemon 3-zone ride plays as a bow-only ride.
Cable routing
- Connect one 1/4" TRS cable from the ride cymbal's Ride 2 output to the RIDE connector on the cable snake.
Module settings
- Go to Kit → Menu → Trigger and select the RIDE input.
- Adjust Sensitivity, Threshold and Curve so bow strikes register cleanly and evenly across the pad.
- Load a ride voice whose bow sample stands on its own — every ride strike plays that single sound.
- Press Save to keep the changes — otherwise they are lost when you power off the drum module.
Tips
- The RIDE input triggers one voice, so bell and edge hits sound the same as the bow.
15" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride also fits 74 other drum modules — see setup
