All cymbal pads are single-zone. No multi-zone cymbal support.
Cable routing
- Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the cymbal pad to the CRASH connector on the DB-25 cable snake.
Module settings
- Hold the [KIT] button and press the [SONG] button to enter Menu Mode.
- Press number button [5] to select the Trigger Settings group.
- Press number button [5] for the Gain parameter, strike the cymbal to select it, then set the gain (1-127) with the number buttons.
- Press number button [6] for the Minimum Level parameter, strike the cymbal, then set the minimum level (0-99 %).
- This input reads bow only — load a crash voice whose bow sample stands on its own.
Tips
- The DTX400K connects all pads via a single multi-pin cable snake. There are no individual jacks.
- All cymbal pads in the DTX400K system are single-zone.
- The module does not support dual-zone cymbal triggering.
