Wiring: 1× lead on the nine-channel snake → RIDE trigger input (3.5 mm mini mono at the module end) — bow only
Full 3-zone is not supported — this module has a single Ride input, and it reads the Ride connection as a single-zone cymbal. Connect the cymbal's Ride 2 output (bow + bell); only bow-zone hits will trigger the kit’s ride voice.
Cable routing
- Connect the cymbal's Ride 2 output (bow + bell) — unplug the stock ride pad from the nine-channel snake and use that lead, or a 3.5 mm-to-1/4" mono adapter at the module (p.18, p.64).
Module settings
- Hold the [KIT] button and press the [SONG] button to enter Menu Mode.
- Press number button [5] to select the Trigger Settings group.
- Press number button [5] for the Gain parameter, strike the ride to select it, then set the gain (1-127) with the number buttons.
- Press number button [6] for the Minimum Level parameter, strike the ride, then set the minimum level (0-99 %).
- This input reads bow only — load a ride voice whose bow sample works on its own.
Tips
- The Ride 2 output still carries bow and bell from the cymbal, but only one channel reaches this module.
- There is one RIDE channel — a second ride cable has no jack to go to.
