Use as 2-zone rideYes — the 15" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride works on the Efnote 7 as a 2-zone ride: bow + edge.
Choose your ride zones
Plug: Ride 1
Wiring: 1× TRS: Ride 1 (bow/edge) → RIDE input
Plug the Lemon ride's Ride 1 cable into the RIDE input for bow + edge — no cymbal modification. Edge is the EFNOTE 7's native second ride zone, so it reads straight away.
Cable routing
- Connect the ride's Ride 1 output (bow/edge) to the RIDE input — the RIDE cable on the multi-cable harness.
Module settings
- Assign a ride-bow tone to zone A and a ride-edge tone to zone B via ZONE EDIT > TONE.
- Adjust Sens and Threshold until bow and edge strikes register cleanly.
Tips
- This is the out-of-the-box setup — no cymbal modification.
- The harness's separate RIDE CUP cable is not used in this configuration.

Plug: Ride 2
Wiring: 1× TRS: Ride 2 (bow/bell, after the rewire) → RIDE input
After the one-time reversible cymbal rewire the Ride 2 cable carries bow + bell into the same RIDE input. The EFNOTE 7 has its own ride cup voice, so assign that tone to the second zone and bell hits play a bell.

- Rewire the cymbal — move the internal jumper from Ride 1 to Ride 2 (see the rewire guide).
- Connect the ride's Ride 2 output to the RIDE input, in place of the Ride 1 cable.
Module settings
- Assign a ride-bow tone to zone A via ZONE EDIT > TONE.
- Assign the ride cup tone to zone B via ZONE EDIT > TONE — that is the zone the rewired Ride 2 cable's bell lands on.
- Adjust Sens and Threshold until bow and bell strikes register cleanly.
Tips
- Both configs feed the same RIDE input — run bow + edge or bow + bell, not both at once.
- The rewire is reversible: move the jumper back to Ride 1 for bow + edge.
