15" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride on 2Box DrumIt 5 MKII

Wiring, module settings, and tips for the 15" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride when used with the 2Box DrumIt 5 MKII.

Setup — 15" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride on 2Box DrumIt 5 MKII

Works

The 15" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride is fully supported on your 2Box DrumIt 5 MKII.

Bell Bow Edge

Wiring: 1× TRS → Ride input + 1× TRS → Aux1 or Aux2 input (1/4" TRS jacks)

The DrumIt 5 MKII supports 3-zone ride using Ride input for bow/edge and Aux for bell. Explicitly supported.

Cable routing

  1. Connect the ride cymbal bow/edge cable to the Ride input.
  2. Connect the ride cymbal bell cable to the Aux1 or Aux2 input.
  3. Two separate 1/4" TRS cables are required for full 3-zone operation.

Module settings

  1. Trigger menu > select Ride input > set Type for 3-zone ride cymbal.
  2. Trigger menu > select Aux input > configure as ride bell.
  3. Adjust Gain, Threshold, Crosstalk, Retrigger, Type, Curve as needed.

Tips

  1. The DrumIt 5 MKII explicitly supports 3-zone ride via Ride + Aux configuration.
  2. Bow, edge, and bell all trigger independently via separate inputs.
