The 15" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride is fully supported on your Simmons SD2000.

Bow Edge

Wiring: 1× TRS → Crash1 or Crash2 input (1/4" TRS jack)

Dual-zone cymbal triggering supported on Crash1 and Crash2 inputs.

Cable routing

  1. Connect to the Crash1 or Crash2 input using a standard 1/4" TRS cable.
  2. The SD2000 has individual 1/4" TRS jacks for all 12 inputs: Kick, Snare, Tom1-4, Hi-Hat, Crash1, Crash2, Ride, Aux1, Aux2.

Module settings

  1. TRIGGER button > select pad > Input Settings: adjust Gain, Threshold, Sensitivity, Crosstalk, Retrigger, Mask Time.

Tips

  1. Both Crash1 and Crash2 support dual-zone bow and edge triggering.
  2. Choke detection is available.
