Setup — 20" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride on Audiofront eDRUMin
WorksThe 20" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride is fully supported on your Audiofront eDRUMin.
Bell
Bow
Edge
Wiring: 2× TRS → two adjacent eDRUMin inputs (1/4" TRS jacks)
Set one input to Roland 3-Zone Ride (bow/edge) and the adjacent input auto-becomes bell. Also supports Bell Sense for single-input 3-zone on compatible pads.
Cable routing
- Connect the ride cymbal bow/edge cable to one eDRUMin input.
- Connect the ride cymbal bell cable to the adjacent input.
- Two separate 1/4" TRS cables are required for full 3-zone operation.
- Alternatively, single-cable 3-zone is possible via Bell Sense on compatible pads.
Module settings
- Open the eDRUMin Control Application > select input > Trigger Editor.
- Set Pad Type to Roland 3-Zone Ride — the adjacent input automatically becomes the bell input.
- Also available: Yamaha 3-Zone Cymbal, Metal 3-Zone pad types.
- Adjust: Gain, Thresh, Scan, Hold, Decay, Bell Sense, Crosstalk, Velocity Curves.
- Use Preset Manager for quick setup.
Tips
- The eDRUMin is the most flexible option for 3-zone ride — works with pads from any manufacturer.
- Bell Sense mode can detect bell hits from a single TRS cable on supported pads.
- Pad types: Roland 3-Zone Ride, Yamaha 3-Zone Cymbal, Metal 3-Zone.
