Choose your ride zones
Plug: Ride 1
Wiring: 1× TRS: Ride 1 (bow/edge) → Ride plug on the trigger snake
Plug the Lemon ride's Ride 1 cable into the snake's Ride connector for bow + edge — no cymbal modification. The DED-300 Pro reads three ride zones, but only from its own single-cable ride design: the trigger snake has one Ride connection, so two of the Lemon ride's zones reach the module.
Cable routing
- Connect a single 1/4" TRS cable from the cymbal's Ride 1 output (bow/edge) to the snake's labeled Ride connector.
Module settings
- MENU > SENSITIVITY > select RD > PS (bow), RS (second zone), THR, XTALK, RETRIGER, VOLUME.
- If the second zone plays the wrong articulation, open MENU > MIDI NOTE and set it to 59 (Ride Edge), or assign a ride-edge voice to that zone in MENU > PAD SET.
Tips
- This is the out-of-the-box setup — no cymbal modification.
- Ride MIDI notes on this module: bow = 51, edge = 59, bell = 53.

Wiring: 1× TRS: Ride 2 (bow/bell, after the rewire) → Ride plug on the trigger snake
After the one-time cymbal rewire the Ride 2 cable carries bow + bell into the snake's single Ride connection.

- Rewire the cymbal — move the internal red/black jumper from the Ride 1 input to the Ride 2 input.
- Connect a single 1/4" TRS cable from the cymbal's Ride 2 output to the snake's labeled Ride connector.

- MENU > SENSITIVITY > select RD > PS (bow), RS (second zone), THR, XTALK, RETRIGER, VOLUME.
- If the second zone plays the wrong articulation, open MENU > MIDI NOTE and set it to 53 (Ride Bell), or assign a bell voice to that zone in MENU > PAD SET.
