Works

The 20" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride is fully supported on your GEWA G9.

Bell Bow Edge

Wiring: 1× TRS → Ride input + 1× TRS → AUX input (1/4" TRS jacks)

The G9 supports 3-zone ride via the 3Way trigger type. More AUX inputs available than G3/G5.

Cable routing

  1. Connect the ride cymbal bow/edge cable to the Ride input.
  2. Connect the ride cymbal bell cable to an AUX input.
  3. Two separate 1/4" TRS cables are required for full 3-zone operation.

Module settings

  1. [Advanced] > Trigger Settings mode > set trigger type to 3Way via touchscreen.
  2. Valid 3Way combinations: Ride+AUX, AUX+AUX, etc.

Tips

  1. The GEWA 3Way trigger type enables true 3-zone ride with separate inputs for bow/edge and bell.
  2. The G9 has more AUX inputs than the G3/G5, providing greater flexibility.
