Wiring: 2× TRS → RIDE + RIDE BELL connectors on the DB-25 cable snake
Full 3-zone ride with separate RIDE and RIDE BELL inputs via the cable snake.
Cable routing
- Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the cymbal's Ride 1 output (bow/edge) to the RIDE connector on the DB-25 cable snake.
- Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the cymbal's Ride 2 output (bow/bell) to the RIDE BELL connector on the DB-25 cable snake.
Module settings
- In the DRUM KIT screen, press [MENU], scroll to the SYSTEM icon, and press [F3] (SYSTEM).
- Use the cursor buttons to select "Pad Settings", press [F3] (ENTER), then press [F1] (TYPE).
- Strike the ride to select the RIDE input, then set "Pad Type" to CY-13R or CY-15R to match your ride.
- Press [F2] (BASIC) to fine-tune "Sensitivity" (1-32) and "Threshold" (0-31).
Tips
- Both cables are required for full 3-zone operation (bell, bow, edge).
- If only one cable is connected, the ride will function as 2-zone only.
- If the edge and bell sounds come out swapped, the two cables are reversed — swap them at the cymbal ends.
20" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride also fits 73 other drum modules — see setup
