Wiring: 2× TRS → SIG1 + SIG2 ride inputs on the Donner rack (Roland CY-style dual-cable 3-zone)
The Beat Max ships with a 14" triple-zone ride and wires it Roland CY-style: two 1/4" TRS outputs labeled SIG1 and SIG2 carry bow + bell + edge. The Lemon 3-zone ride uses the same two-output design, so it drops in with two cables. Module pad model is T_CY14R.
Cable routing
- Connect two 1/4" TRS cables from the Lemon 3-zone ride's two outputs to the SIG1 and SIG2 ride inputs on the Donner rack.
- This is the standard Roland CY-style dual-cable connection — both jacks together carry bow + bell + edge.
Module settings
- On the touchscreen: open DRUM KIT → tap the Ride column → tap Instrument → EDITOR tab.
- Set Model to T_CY14R (14" triple-zone ride) to enable bow + bell + edge triggering.
- Adjust Pad Sensitivity (bow), Rim Sensitivity (bell/edge), Threshold, and XTalk.
Tips
- Ride MIDI notes: Bow = 51, Bell = 53, Edge = 59.
- Both SIG1 and SIG2 must be connected for full 3-zone play — a single cable carries only two of the three zones.
