T550 8" High Tom on Lekato PD708
Setup — T550 8" High Tom on Lekato PD708
WorksYes — the T550 8" High Tom works as a full tom on the Lekato PD708: head + rim.

Wiring: 1× TRS → TRIGGER IN 1/2 or 3/4 — head + rim
Each 2-zone tom needs one of the two jacks Lekato designates for dual-zone pads — TRIGGER IN 1/2 or 3/4 (User Manual p.7) — carrying head and rim over one TRS cable. Those two jacks are shared by every 2-zone pad you add, so a snare plus one tom already uses both. The other two jacks, 5/6 and 7/8, are designated for dual-zone cymbals, and the manual documents no setting that switches a jack between pad and cymbal use.
Snare and tom setup and troubleshooting guide ›Cable routing
- Connect a TRS cable from the Lemon tom pad to a free TRIGGER IN jack — 1/2 or 3/4.
Module settings
- Open the SYSTEM menu, go to PAD SETUP and strike the tom to select its trigger.
- On PAGE 1, set SENSITIVITY and THRESHOLD, and raise MASK TIME or RETRIG LEVEL if a hit sounds twice.
- In the PAD menu, strike the head and choose a tom sound under Wave, then strike the rim and assign its sound.
Tips
- Only two jacks, 1/2 and 3/4, are designated for 2-zone pads — plan which pads claim them.
- A tom that doesn't need its rim can go on TRIGGER IN 5/6 or 7/8 with a mono TS cable — head only. The TS plug grounds the jack's second trigger, so no stray rim sounds.
- Raise ANTI CROSS between pads mounted on the same stand.
- On an input that reads head and rim, if the wrong zone plays, tune the module's head/rim settings for this pad's size; values set for a different-size pad may not carry over.
