Setup details by role
Snare pad 2-zone 1× TRS → TRIGGER IN 1/2 or 3/4 — head + rim
The PD708 is a nine-pad sampler pad, not a kit module. Its rear panel has four TRIGGER IN jacks, silkscreened 1/2, 3/4, 5/6 and 7/8, and Lekato says "all of them are with dual channel" — each jack carries two of the unit's eight external triggers. Lekato assigns them by job: "1/2 and 3/4 are used for connecting a dual zone trigger pad. 5/6 and 7/8 are used for connecting a dual zone cymbal" (User Manual p.7). A Lemon snare goes on 1/2 or 3/4 with a TRS cable, so head and rim arrive on the jack's two triggers and each plays its own sound.
Tom pad 2-zone 1× TRS → TRIGGER IN 1/2 or 3/4 — head + rim
Each 2-zone tom needs one of the two jacks Lekato designates for dual-zone pads — TRIGGER IN 1/2 or 3/4 (User Manual p.7) — carrying head and rim over one TRS cable. Those two jacks are shared by every 2-zone pad you add, so a snare plus one tom already uses both. The other two jacks, 5/6 and 7/8, are designated for dual-zone cymbals, and the manual documents no setting that switches a jack between pad and cymbal use.
Kick pad Works 1× TS → TRIGGER IN 1/2 or 3/4 (single-zone; TS grounds the jack's second trigger)
Single-zone kick trigger. Every TRIGGER IN jack is dual channel (User Manual p.7), so its ring is a live second trigger. Use a mono TS cable: its sleeve grounds that second trigger, where a TRS cable would leave it open. The kick takes one of the two jacks designated for pads.
2-zone crash 2-zone 1× TRS → TRIGGER IN 5/6 or 7/8 — bow + edge
Dual-zone crash triggering on the jacks Lekato designates for cymbals: "5/6 and 7/8 are used for connecting a dual zone cymbal" (User Manual p.7). Bow and edge arrive on the jack's two triggers over one TRS cable and each plays its own sound. The manual says nothing about choke, so none is claimed here.
3-zone ride 2-zone 1× TRS: Ride 1 (bow/edge) → TRIGGER IN 5/6 or 7/8
Plug the Lemon ride's Ride 1 cable into one of the PD708's cymbal jacks for bow + edge — no cymbal modification. Each TRIGGER IN jack is dual channel, so the ride drives two of its three zones here.
