Yes — the T550 8" High Tom works as a full tom on the Alesis Nitro: head + rim.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS per tom → Tom1, Tom2, Tom3 connectors on the 25-pin cable snake

The tom connectors on the cable snake support dual-zone (head + rim) triggering via center piezo and rim switch.

Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from each tom pad to the Tom1, Tom2, or Tom3 connector on the 25-pin cable snake.

Go to Utility > use Page/Select buttons to navigate: SEN (Sensitivity), THR (Threshold), CUR (Curve).
Select the Tom input and adjust parameters.
R-S (Rim Sensitivity) controls rim zone response.

Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.
Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
