Wiring, module settings, and tips for the T550 8" High Tom when used with the Donner DED-300 Pro.

Yes — the T550 8" High Tom works as a full tom on the Donner DED-300 Pro: head + rim.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS per tom → Tom 1, Tom 2, Tom 3 plugs on the trigger snake; Tom 4 → TOM4 jack on the rear panel (1/4" TRS)

All four tom channels are dual-zone — head and rim both trigger. Toms 1–3 connect through the trigger snake; Tom 4 uses the dedicated TOM4 expansion jack on the rear panel with one of the included signal cables.

Cable routing

Plug the snake's labeled Tom 1, Tom 2, and Tom 3 connectors into the Lemon tom pads' 1/4" TRS jacks.
For a fourth tom, connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the pad to the TOM4 jack on the module's rear panel.

Module settings

MENU > SENSITIVITY > select T01, T02, or T03 > PS (head), RS (rim), THR, XTALK, RETRIGER, VOLUME.

Tips

Tom MIDI notes (head / rim): Tom 1 = 48/87, Tom 2 = 45/88, Tom 3 = 43/89, Tom 4 = 41/90.
The SENSITIVITY menu lists T01–T03 only — the TOM4 expansion channel uses fixed trigger settings.
