WorksYes — the T550 8" High Tom works as a full tom on the Efnote 3: head + rim.

Rim
Wiring: 1× TRS per tom → TOM1, TOM2 or TOM3 leads on the MULTI-A breakout cable
The tom inputs support dual-zone (head + rim) triggering via the center piezo and the rim piezo.
Cable routing
- Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from each tom pad to the TOM1, TOM2 or TOM3 lead on the MULTI-A breakout cable — the module has no 1/4" trigger jacks of its own (Quickstart Guide p.10).
Module settings
- In the Trigger menu's PAD screen, select the tom Input.
- Adjust Sens and Threshold; Sens B adjusts the rim zone.
- If rim sounds trigger when you strike the head, adjust Head-Rim Border.
- Use the X-TALK ELIM. screen if hits on other pads falsely trigger this one.
Tips
- Head triggers from the center piezo, rim from a second piezo on the ring.
- Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
- A fourth tom goes to the TOM4 lead on the MULTI-B breakout cable (Quickstart Guide p.11).
