20" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride on Alesis Strike Pro

Wiring, module settings, and tips for the 20" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride when used with the Alesis Strike Pro.

Setup — 20" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride on Alesis Strike Pro

Works

The 20" Triple-Zone Crash/Ride is fully supported on your Alesis Strike Pro.

Bow Edge

Wiring: 1× TRS → Crash 1, Crash 2, or Crash 3 input

All three Crash inputs are individual ¼″ TRS jacks on the rear panel. Set Input Type to Switch for dual-zone cymbals. Choke is supported.

Cable routing

  1. Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the cymbal to the Crash 1, Crash 2, or Crash 3 input on the rear panel.

Module settings

  1. Press Edit → Triggers (button 19). Strike the cymbal pad or use Note Chase to select the input.
  2. Set Input Type to Switch — required for dual-zone cymbals with edge sensors.
  3. Adjust Sensitivity (00–99), Threshold (00–99), and Curve to taste.

Tips

  1. If crosstalk occurs, tune XTalk Rcv (00–07) on the cymbal and XTalk Send (00–07) on the interfering pad.
  2. Retrigger (00–99) controls the minimum time between successive strikes — raise it if you get double triggers.
