T950 20"x12" Kick Drum on Alesis Strata Core

Wiring, module settings, and tips for the T950 20"x12" Kick Drum when used with the Alesis Strata Core.

The T950 20"x12" Kick Drum is fully supported on your Alesis Strata Core.

Trigger

Wiring: 1× TS or TRS → KD (Kick) on the trigger snake

Single-zone kick trigger — only the head zone is active. Exposes Curve, Head Sensitivity, and Head Threshold.

Connect the kick pad's 1/4" TS or TRS lead to the KD (Kick) trigger on the snake.

Press the Kit button, then tap Trigger to open Trigger Mode.
Tap Hit Select and strike the kick to select the KD slot.
Open Tweaks and adjust Head Sensitivity (1.0–32.0) and Head Threshold (1–127); set Curve to taste.

Single-zone operation — only the head zone is active.
A TS cable is sufficient for single-zone kick pads; TRS also works (the ring is unused).
