Setup details by role

Snare pad 2-zone 1× TRS → SD (Snare) on the cable snake

The Snare trigger slot is dual-zone (head + rim), with independent Head Sensitivity, Rim Sensitivity, Head Threshold, and Rim Threshold. Snare articulations are Head, Rimshot, Rim Click, and XStick.

Tom pad 2-zone 1× TRS per tom → T1/T2/T3 on the cable snake, or T4 on the Tom 4 rear-panel jack

Each Tom trigger slot is dual-zone (head + rim) with independent Head Sensitivity, Rim Sensitivity, Head Threshold, and Rim Threshold. T1–T3 land on the cable snake; T4 is one of the two dedicated 1/4" TRS jacks Alesis puts on the rear panel — "Tom 4 and Cymbal 3 Trigger Inputs (1/4" TRS)" (User Guide p.10).

Kick pad Works 1× TS or TRS → KD (Kick) on the cable snake

Single-zone kick trigger — only the head zone is active. Exposes Curve, Head Sensitivity, and Head Threshold.

2-zone crash 2-zone 1× TRS → C1/C2 on the cable snake, or C3 on the Cymbal 3 rear-panel jack

Each Cymbal slot reads bow + edge with choke support, tuned with Bow Sensitivity, Edge Sensitivity, and Threshold. C1–C2 land on the cable snake; C3 is one of the two dedicated 1/4" TRS jacks Alesis puts on the rear panel — "Tom 4 and Cymbal 3 Trigger Inputs (1/4" TRS)" (User Guide p.10).

3-zone ride 3-zone 2× TRS → R (Ride) on the cable snake + a free Cymbal input — bow/edge + bow/bell

The Strata Core has a dedicated native 3-zone Ride slot — bow, bell, and edge each trigger independently, with choke on the edge. The Lemon 3-zone ride is dual-output (two signal lines), so it lands on the R (Ride) input for bow/edge plus one free Cymbal input for the bell.

Hi-hat Continuous 1× TRS (pad) → HH on the cable snake + 1× mono TS (controller)

Variable hi-hat is supported — the controller mounts under the cymbal and tracks pedal position continuously, so open, half-open, closed, chick, and splash articulations all play. Calibrate with HH Setup; fine-tune with Pedal Bottom and Pedal Top.
