- Connect a 1/4" TS or TRS cable from the kick pad to the KICK input on the rear panel.
Module settings
- Set the kick input's trigger gain and threshold from the Pearl Mimic Pro's own trigger menu — see the Pearl Mimic Pro manual for the exact menu path and parameter names.
Tips
- Single-zone operation — only the head zone is active.
- A TS cable is sufficient for single-zone kick pads; TRS also works (ring is unused). Pearl says it outright: "TRS cables for multi zone or TS cables for single zone connectors" (p.9).
