Yes — the T950 20"x12" Kick Drum works as a full kick on the Simmons SD1500: single zone.

Trigger

Wiring: 1× TS or TRS → KICK lead on the multi-pin pad harness

Single-zone kick trigger. Only the head zone is active.

Connect a 1/4" TS or TRS cable from the kick pad to the KICK lead on the module's multi-pin pad harness (the harness plugs into the Multi-Pin Connection Jack on the bottom of the module).

Press [UTILITY], then [MENU] to open Trigger Setup.
Select the Kick input (strike the pad or use its Pad Select button).
Step with [PAGE -/+] and adjust Sensitive, Thresh, Curve, Retrig-C, X-Talk, Splash-S.

Single-zone operation — only the head zone is active.
A TS cable is sufficient for single-zone kick pads; TRS also works (ring is unused).
