Works

The T950 20"x12" Kick Drum is fully supported on your Roland TD-50.

Trigger

Wiring: 1× TS or TRS → KICK input (1/4" TRS jack)

Single-zone kick trigger. Only the head zone is active.

Cable routing

  1. Connect a 1/4" TS or TRS cable from the kick pad to the KICK input on the rear panel.

Module settings

  1. Press [TRIGGER] > [F1] BANK.
  2. Navigate to the KICK input.
  3. Set the trigger type to KD-10, KD-120, or KD-140 depending on your kick pad.

Tips

  1. Single-zone operation — only the head zone is active.
  2. A TS cable is sufficient for single-zone kick pads; TRS also works (ring is unused).
