Works

The T950 20"x12" Kick Drum is fully supported on your Alesis Prime.

Trigger

Wiring: 1× TS or TRS → KICK input (1/4" TRS jack)

Single-zone kick trigger. Only the head zone is active.

Cable routing

  1. Connect a 1/4" TS or TRS cable from the kick pad to the KICK input on the rear panel.

Module settings

  1. Go to Kit → Trigger Edit on the touchscreen. Tap the kick input to select it.
  2. Choose a trigger preset from the library, or go to the Tweaks tab to adjust manually.
  3. Set Sensitivity, Threshold, and Curve.

Tips

  1. Single-zone operation — only the head zone is active.
  2. A TS cable is sufficient for single-zone kick pads; TRS also works (ring is unused).
