Yes — the T950 20"x12" Kick Drum works as a full kick on the Yamaha DTX400K: single zone.

Trigger

Wiring: 1× lead on the nine-channel snake → KICK/PAD trigger input (3.5 mm mini stereo at the module end)

Single-zone kick trigger. Only the head zone is active.

Unplug the stock Yamaha pad from the nine-channel snake and plug that same lead into the Lemon pad — the snake's pad-end plugs are standard 1/4" (p.18). This is the connection Yamaha itself documents for swapping a pad (p.56).
Going direct to the module instead needs a 3.5 mm-to-1/4" adapter, and for the kick it should be a mono one. The KICK/PAD jack is mini stereo (p.64), but its second channel is the "/PAD" half — a mono adapter grounds it, where a stereo adapter would leave it open.

Hold the [KIT] button and press the [SONG] button to enter Menu Mode.
Press number button [5] to select the Trigger Settings group.
Press number button [5] for the Gain parameter, strike the kick to select it, then set the gain (1-127) with the number buttons.
Press number button [6] for the Minimum Level parameter, strike the kick, then set the minimum level (0-99 %) to reject pedal noise.

Single-zone operation — only the head zone is active.
The KICK/PAD jack's second channel is the "/PAD" half: with a Yamaha KP65 kick pad in place, one more pad can be connected through the KP65 itself (p.22, p.56).
