T950 20"x12" Kick Drum on Alesis Strata Prime

Wiring, module settings, and tips for the T950 20"x12" Kick Drum when used with the Alesis Strata Prime.

The T950 20"x12" Kick Drum is fully supported on your Alesis Strata Prime.

Trigger

Wiring: 1× TS or TRS → Kick trigger input (1/4" TRS jack)

Single-zone kick trigger — the Kick slot reads only the Head zone.

Connect a 1/4" TS or TRS cable from the kick pad to the Kick trigger input on the rear panel.

Open Trigger Edit Mode and strike the kick, or use Hit Select, to select the Kick input.
Pick the matching trigger preset, then tune Sensitivity and Threshold to taste.

Single-zone operation — only the Head zone is active.
A TS cable is sufficient for a single-zone kick pad; a TRS cable also works (the ring is unused).
