Wiring, module settings, and tips for the T950 10"x5" High Tom when used with the Alesis Nitro.

Yes — the T950 10"x5" High Tom works as a full tom on the Alesis Nitro: head + rim.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS per tom → Tom1, Tom2, Tom3 connectors on the 25-pin cable snake

The tom connectors on the cable snake support dual-zone (head + rim) triggering via the center piezo and the rim piezo.

Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from each tom pad to the Tom1, Tom2, or Tom3 connector on the 25-pin cable snake.

Hit the tom pad, or press its Pad Select button, so the module selects that input.
Press Utility, then press Page/Select until the setting you want appears: SEN (Pad sensitivity), THR (Pad threshold), R-S (Pad rim sensitivity), CRO (Pad crosstalk), or CUR (Pad velocity curve).
Set the value with the < and > buttons — R-S controls the rim zone response.
Press Save to keep the settings — otherwise they return to defaults when you power the module off.

Head triggers from the center piezo, rim from a second piezo on the ring.
Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
