Works

The T950 10"x5" High Tom is fully supported on your Simmons Titan 70.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS per tom → TOM1, TOM2, TOM3 connectors on the DB-25 cable harness

The tom inputs on the cable harness support dual-zone (head + rim) triggering via center piezo and rim switch.

Cable routing

  1. Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from each tom pad to the TOM1, TOM2, or TOM3 connector on the DB-25 cable harness.

Module settings

  1. MENU > TRIGGER > select Tom > adjust Sensitivity, Threshold, Crosstalk, Rim Sensitivity.

Tips

  1. Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.
  2. Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
