Works

The T950 10"x5" High Tom is fully supported on your Simmons SD1250.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS per tom → TOM1, TOM2, TOM3 connectors on the DB-25 cable harness

The tom inputs on the cable harness support dual-zone (head + rim) triggering via center piezo and rim switch.

Cable routing

  1. Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from each tom pad to the TOM1, TOM2, or TOM3 connector on the DB-25 cable harness.

Module settings

  1. MENU > TRIGGER SET > select Tom > adjust Sensitivity, Threshold, Crosstalk, Retrigger, and Curve.

Tips

  1. Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.
  2. Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
