Wiring, module settings, and tips for the T950 10"x5" High Tom when used with the Simmons SD1250.

Yes — the T950 10"x5" High Tom works as a full tom on the Simmons SD1250: head + rim.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS per tom → the TOM1/TOM2/TOM3 leads of the multi-pin cable harness (a fourth tom uses the side-panel Tom 4 jack)

The tom inputs are dual-zone (head + rim): the module's note chart gives each tom a head note and a rim note.

Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from each tom pad to the TOM1, TOM2, or TOM3 lead of the multi-pin cable harness.
A fourth tom uses the Tom 4 stereo 1/4" input on the module's right side panel.

In Utility mode, press the Function button under Trigger on the Main Utility screen (Utility → Trigger F1).
Select the Tom pad via Follow Trigger (strike it) or Current Trigger, then adjust Sensitivity, Threshold, Crosstalk, Retrigger, and Curve.

Head triggers from the center piezo, rim from a second piezo on the ring.
Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
