Head
Rim
Wiring: 1× TRS per tom → a TRIGGER IN jack (1/2, 3/4, 5/6 or 7/8) set to HEAD&RIM — head + rim
Each tom uses one of the four dual-trigger TRIGGER IN jacks in HEAD&RIM mode (head + rim over a single TRS cable). With four jacks you can connect up to four 2-zone pads directly; single-zone pads can share a jack via a PCS-31L Y-cable in TRIGGx2 mode to reach eight inputs total.
Cable routing
- Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from each Lemon tom pad to a free TRIGGER IN jack (1/2, 3/4, 5/6 or 7/8).
Module settings
- Press [MENU] > SYSTEM > PAD/TRIG IN > [F1] (PARAM).
- For each tom's trigger input, set Input Mode to HEAD&RIM.
- Set Trig Type to a tom profile such as PD-85 or PD-105, then adjust Sensitivity, Threshold and Curve.
- Assign tom head and rim waves to each trigger input in KIT EDIT.
Tips
- Only four physical jacks exist — plan which pads get a dedicated HEAD&RIM jack versus a shared TRIGGx2 jack.
- Raise XTalk Cancel between toms mounted on the same stand.
