T950 10"x5" High Tom on Audiofront eDRUMin

Wiring, module settings, and tips for the T950 10"x5" High Tom when used with the Audiofront eDRUMin.

Setup — T950 10"x5" High Tom on Audiofront eDRUMin

Works

Yes — the T950 10"x5" High Tom works as a full tom on the Audiofront eDRUMin: head + rim.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS → any eDRUMin input per tom (1/4" TRS jacks)

All inputs are universal and configurable. Supports dual-zone pads from any manufacturer.

Cable routing

  1. Connect each tom pad to an available eDRUMin input using a standard 1/4" TRS cable.
  2. Use one input per tom. Models: eDRUMin 4 (4 inputs), eDRUMin 8 (8 inputs), eDRUMin 10 (10 inputs).

Module settings

  1. Open the eDRUMin Control Application and select the tom input (Auto-Select: hit the pad, or click it in the Input Selector).
  2. If a matching factory preset exists, open the Preset Manager, select the input and double-click it — then skip to the fine-tuning step.
  3. Otherwise open the Trigger Editor and set Input Mode to Stereo (dual-zone head + rim).
  4. Press the Pad Type Selector and choose the pad type that best matches your dual-zone tom pad.
  5. Use Activate Calibrate Mode, then hit the head and the rim to auto-set Gain, Thresh, Scan and Hold.
  6. Fine-tune Gain, Thresh, Scan, Hold, Decay, Crosstalk, Rimshot Range, and the Velocity Curves as needed.

Tips

  1. The eDRUMin is a MIDI trigger interface — it converts pad signals to MIDI for a DAW, VST, or external sound module.
  2. Brand-agnostic: works with Roland, Yamaha, Alesis, and third-party pads.
  3. Head and rim zones trigger independently via center piezo and rim switch.
T950 10"x5" High Tom also fits 73 other drum modules — see setup
