T550 10" Low Tom on Simmons Titan 70

Wiring, module settings, and tips for the T550 10" Low Tom when used with the Simmons Titan 70.

Yes — the T550 10" Low Tom works as a full tom on the Simmons Titan 70: head + rim.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS per tom → TOM1, TOM2, TOM3 connectors on the DB-25 cable harness

The tom inputs on the cable harness support dual-zone (head + rim) triggering via center piezo and rim switch.

Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from each tom pad to the TOM1, TOM2, or TOM3 connector on the DB-25 cable harness.

Press the SETUP button, then strike the tom pad to select it (the LED at the right of the display shows which input is selected).
Press SETUP repeatedly to step through Sens, Retrigger, Threshold, Curve, and X-Talk for that input.
For the head/rim balance, set Ratio.

Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.
Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
